Content creation framework is a structure of process for publishing content from the beginning stages to post publication. — Hubspot Academy

It is important to understand that a framework plays a significant role in content marketing. One cannot just start writing and publishing content. You have to plan, organize, structure, communicate and direct you and your team to move forward in creating content.

You can follow the below format for your framework:

Publish Date/Time

Due Date

Responsibilities

Blog Post/Titles

Description

Status

Editor

- You should mention the date and time for publishing. This way your team stays in the loop as to what is happening within the team. They understand better when the information is clearly provided about the publishing date and time.

- Due date is necessary. We all know deadlines are important to follow. Due date lets us work and schedule our priorities while creating content.

- The responsibilities assigned to different writers and editors can be mentioned in the column so that there is no miscommunication and the roles are clearly defined for the team members. The team can avoid overlapping of work and they can work together for creating more productive content.

- It is advised to mention blog post/articles names and their titles.

- Describe it in a few words to understand better. This way your team members know who is working on what type of content article. Learning happens at all steps of your career, right! So, let your team members know about their work so that if anyone has anything to contribute, they can.

- Maintaining status of the work is important. Whether it is ongoing, edited, written or published, it is important to be well-updated with everyone’s work.

- The editors have to work with a lot of content. They have to proofread, check the facts and the list continues. It is better to assign the editors to a few writers to avoid confusion. This helps in easy and effective communication. The assigned editor can work with the assigned writers and increase efficiency and productivity.

Remain flexible with your framework. The digital world keeps on evolving and the client requires many changes. It is always advised to be flexible while creating a framework for the team. This way there is less pressure on the team and they can concentrate on their work in a better way.
