When we talk about content marketing, we majorly speak about Storytelling. Why are you doing the business? How can it affect the audience. What are you offering? Here, I present a few storytelling best practices:

- Make use of conflict to make an emotional connection with your audience. Why do I focus on audience? Because, we are making the products and services for them. And if they are unhappy, your brand will suffer the loss. I know that you want to go through such situation. When we establish a relationship with the audience, we begin to understand them in terms of what they need and why do they need. The brands can help solve their problems. Speak their language. Use their slang.

- Consistent and Authentic are two important characteristics here. One cannot stop after they have achieved their goals. They have to expand and diversify for their audience. Consistent experimentation can help your brand to understand your audience better. What changes are coming in the society? How is the generation responding to different products and services? What new can be developed to meet their new needs and wants? And maintain authenticity. You cannot search and use already existing facts for your brand to grow. You have to conduct regular experiments in the market to understand the new trends. Digital world is evolving rapidly, seconds by seconds. Hence, you need to be consistent with your strategies and introduce new ones to accommodate the evolving transformation.

- The story should be clear and concise. Do not exaggerate. The longer you do, the less audience will stick to it. The attention span of audience has reduced. they do not spend time watching advertisements. SKIP option is available and one can just ignore what your brand is saying. So, develop a hook and send a clear message across.

Emotions play a crucial role when it comes to storytelling. Obviously, tell the truth but make it fascinating. Empathize with people. Make them believe that you also face the same problem. Resonate with them. Create a community and interact with them. Once you have built the trust with your audience, you begin to grow. This is how the success of the brands begin.
